Wow! it was hot, and we both flagged a bit, Oblivion, Nemesis and this one, Willy WOnka’s glass elevator and a stroll thru the gardens. Emily you missed it, easy journey from Chesterfield, rather down south. Top tip, get online and buy in advance, plus get the queue beating ticket for £8 extra.

Moment of fame, 18th May 2009, No mention of Geoff’s lawn, which was really interesting for Dermot. No showing of all the tie breaks between Anne and Barry or the final tie breaks at the end. Bit of a shame that out of 3 tie break questions we were asked for two musical instruments. Also, in the run up to the programm Kevin had been asked what a Samisen is/was, so he certainly knew.
you can always see us again on iPlayer lol!

Just had it all finally confirmed that the ‘Late at Half Past 8′ team’s broadcast is not the 20th as first indicated.
So see the turnip head plummet to new lows on Monday week. The team played well, gave them a run for the money shall we say? how much we will see could depend on Geoff’s chat with Dermot on his lawn. Tune into BBC2 6pm.

Bakewell market, not been there since the eighties, so gave it a whirl today. Often had a cuppa out at Bakewell in my father’s latter days. Had a coffee and a bun and found Oscar waitng for me as a momento at the place we sat and had a coffee together. Who’s Oscar?
First some pics………….
Here’s Oscar!
He’s from Treeline Coffee and Giftshop in Diamond Court, Bakewell - treat yourself to a pic, handmade furniture, pottery, jewelery and of course a panini!
